About Us

Pinwheel Garden began in 2017 when we, Albert and Steven Tseng, set out to create a restaurant that felt just as personal as the meals we love to cook and share. Our food is rooted in scratch-made Asian-American comfort dishes inspired by the flavors we grew up around, but always prepared with an eye toward health and care. That means seasonal produce whenever we can, GMO- and hormone-free ingredients, clean seasonings, and a menu full of vegan-friendly and gluten-conscious choices. Just as important to us as the food is the space itself—we built the furniture by hand out of wood and steel so the dining room would feel warm, natural, and inviting. Pinwheel is our way of weaving together food, community, and craft, and it’s an honor to serve our neighbors in Communipaw and beyond.

Pinwheel Garden is a FAMILY-owned Restaurant dedicated to serving REMIXED Asian-American food from scratch, bringing together authentic flavors and ingredients from different cultures around the world including Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Italy, France and America to name but a few. We use only the freshest seasonal produce (organic whenever possible), use Organic Tamari/Braggs for Gluten-Free seasoning, use only Pink Himalayan and Sea Salt, are GMO and Preservative-free, sweeten with only Sustainable Palm Sugar/Agave, cook with Filtered Water and infuse everything with conscious LOVE to make the Delicious, Healthy, Feel-Good Food we proudly serve our community!
